Dell precision 7560 not charging when playing games in optimized or ultra performance mode
I'm having problems with gaming on my Dell Precision 7560 and the battery drops to 91-92% then the machine automatically drops the frame rate and when I exit the game the machine returns to normal, I don't understand if it's because of the bios when I updated to the latest version or what, but with optimized and ultra performance mode I checked and when playing games in the above 2 modes, the charger barely charges any power but when in cool mode the charging power is received normally

It sounds like the system is throttling due to heat -- does it work in a more balanced power plan? These are thin and lightweight, with limitations on the cooling hardware as a result. It's unlikely you'll be able to run in ultra performance mode for very long before you run up against the thermodynamic limits of a relatively small heatink.
Like the XPS systems on which they're based, these very likely draw power from the battery even when running on AC when they're heavily loaded -- as they would be when gaming.

It's not really thin and light, its design does make my back bend when carrying it around every day. i tried using powerplan balanced but i checked it still doesnt receive power even though i have the charger plugged in, it only doesnt receive power when i play games

It's normal behavior for systems that use Hybrid Power -- and the Precision 7560 is one of the systems that uses it.

If the temperature rises too high, no matter what you've set the software to do, the system will still throttle.
