DELL Precision 7530: Fans are running at maximum speed
On my DELL Precision 7530 the fans are running at maximum speed.
It's an model from may of 2019 with Intel XEON E-2167.
Speedfan tells me that fan 1 is running with 5349 RPM and fan 2 with 5299 RPM.
So I have cleared the the fan houses without success.
Then I have updated all drivers and BIOS via SupportAssist tool without success.
When checking the laptop via diagnosis I got these error messages:
Processor fan: Errorcode 2000-0511, Validation Code 70161: "the (processor fan) fan failed to respond correctly"
Video Fan: Errorcode 2000-0511, Validation Code 70161: "the (video fan) fan failed to respond correctly"
my support ends in may 2022.
The System BIOS has 1.21.0 and Build 4400.13.
What's wrong?
Thanks for your help.

Found a very simple solution by myself.
I am wondering about a message at the start of booting about beeing in "manufactoring mode".
So I pressed ALT-F (as requested) to leave manufactoring mode.
From that point the fans are running at normal speed.
The question still remains why and when I have entered the "manufactoring mode".

@Svenneven Thank you very much for taking the time to post your own solution. I just had the same issue and your ALT-F tip fixed it.

@Svenneven Hello. Whats strange is I ran the Dell Diag and the fan failure popped up with a fan error failure 550 so with the "manufactoring mode" on the screen still. I am thinking its ether how the firmware was written or I really have a hardware issue. I can't take a chance. I'm ordering both fans anyway. Their pretty cheap on Amazon.
