DELL PRECISION 7520 unable to access bios setup through F2 or F12.
I encountered this problem with a Dell precision 7520. CTRL+ESC is supposed to recover the bios but this did not work for me. I am left unable to get into bios setup through either F2 or F12. I tried just about everything to reset the hardware and none of them worked for me. The notebook is essentially bricked. Furthermore, I strongly believe Dell is inserting malware into their bios firmware and drivers to slow down performance and break the notebooks in an effort to induce new sales from their customers. Initially, all the diagnostics checked out but problems start after the OS is installed and you start to download the drivers and bios updates. The machine immediately takes a hit when it connects to the Dell website. After that poor performance problems, data corruption issues and finally the bios issues with corruption and inability to access the bios. I strongly believe Dell is doing all this to induce new sales. It is shameful!

I use always F2 or F12 when Dell logo is showing up. Timing is essential here.
How about this procedure
shutdown /r /fw
and press Enter.1.35.0 was the latest BIOS what I have used. Since then we have retired all our 7X20 models.
Time to be ready for Windows 11.
You can download manually your drivers with any computer models (Dell, HP or Lenovo) at the same speed and save files to your USB stick.
Just go here and do not use Dell installation tools.
