Dell Precision 5770 and RTX A3000 12GB issue

Hello everyone.

So I searched the forum here and found these two threads :

It appears that the Precision 5770 is not very good at switching between the Intel and NVIDIA GPU when required.

So, this happens when :

Windows 11 23H2 and 24H2 - no difference.

Newest NVIDIA Driver  32.0.15.7283 from 14/03/2025 and also older.

Power Settings on either Balanced or High Performance - doesn't matter.

We launch the FurMark - we get this OpenGL error. (See attached)

We also tried to set the application to run on High Performance in Windows : Optimizations for windowed games in Windows 11 - Microsoft Support

And we have also tried to set NVIDIA Control Panel to use "High-Performance NVIDIA Processor" no difference :(

Also - why have Dell removed to option to configure the discrete GPU in BIOS for this model?

Does it work - but only for A1000/A2000 or am I overlooking something here?

Anyone else?

This is the error when trying to launch the application.
