Dell Precision 5550 HDMI output for 2560x1440
Hello folks!
I want to clarify, which HDMI version have this laptop ?
I'm asking, because i want to connect a 2K monitor and have 120 or 144hz refresh rate. Right now, I'm using 3rd party Type C to Display Port adapter, and I have that 144hz on 2K. But now i need to do some changes, and I want to use Type C to HDMI adapter, and i want to have high refresh rate. So, regarding adapter i will take care, but I need to know, will it even possible to have high refresh rate on 2560x1440 with adapter to HDMI. I had tested that dell original small adapter Dell DA20, and this small guy can't give me more than 60HZ output. So, question to experts here - is it possible to have 2560x1440@120(144)HZ video ouput via HDMI on Dell Precision 5550 ?

Hey, I've solved it myself. So, short answer - Yes, it works!
Detailed answer - I found Verbatim Type C - HDMI cable, which is supporting 4K@60Hz, and connected to laptop. Laptop is able to work on 60/120/144Hz with this cable on 2K resolution. So, looks like small Dell DA20 is having old HDMI version, as it doesnt give out more than 60Hz.
