Dell Precision 5540 battery issues
Hey,
My Dell has been powering off as soon as I unplug it, I've tried this with a USB type C cable as well, so I know it isn't the charger. The blinking LED's are four orange and then one white.
Is the next step just to replace the battery? I've run a few diagnostics including the battery report, the full capacity is 55,000 and right now it's 37,500. I had the same problem last week, however it randomly started working again, I looked at the report and during this time there was a drop from 40k-37.5k over one day.
Thank you!

The system has lost more than a third of its battery capacity - and if that's because of one faulty cell, it's conceivable the voltage drop renders the battery unable to power the system. in the absence of other symptoms, replace the battery.
