Dell Precision 3560, SSD2 socket missing

Hi

Why does my laptop not have a ssd2 socket?

Watching this video, I thought it will be possible to add a 2nd ssd: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2rtEJ5EZ-PI

If you notice the comments on the video link you posted, others had the same missing slot. I believe it is only on the MB if you ordered a system with 2 M.2 slots initially. There were obviously 2 variations of the MB. And no you cannot modify the board yourself.

I really tried to understand this manual. Next time before I buy I will ask here. So we learn every day new very interesting complicated decisions of the management...

Today i was going to upgrade my laptop storage and after I opened the cover I was shocked.  I checked the online manual before I ordered the gen 4 2T SSD.  They should have at least mention it's optional to the motherboard.  Now I have to return the SSD!
