Dell Power Manger Doesn't work with Windows 11, Battery charge limit not possible for Precision 5530?

For Dell Precision 5530

With Windows 10, I used Dell Power Manager to limit Min / Max battery charging, with max set at 90%

Since "upgrade" to Windows 11, the battery doesn't stop at 90% but goes all the way to 100%.  This is hard on the battery as it is connected to charger (and thunderbolt) continuously.

Others have documented that Power Manager doesn't work with Win11 but that the MyDell app can accomplish the same.

Problem for me is twofold: 1) I don't think MyDell is available for me for this model of laptop, and 2) even if it is the Microsoft Store is a blocked access for me (corporate policy).

So, unless I missed something it's no longer possible to limit battery charging.

You can request your employer to allow admin access to install the latest Dell Optimizer instead.
