Dell Ethernet and USB A Ports Lat 5540/ 7640 vs Prec 5680/ 7680
Do any of the Lat 5540/ 7640 or Prec 5680/ 7680 still have ethernet and USB A ports for wired Ethernet and legacy USB A devices? Have a WD24TB dock in office and WD19TB at home but don't want to carry a dock around just to get ethernet and USB A when traveling.

The latitudes have USB-A support but no Ethernet jack.
The Precision 7680 has both USB-A and Ethernet.
The Precision 5680 has only USB-C or USBC/Thunderbolt and no Ethernet jack.
You don't need a dock for Ethernet -- you can use a USB-C to Ethernet adapter, or a USB-A to Ethernet adapter.

I specifically purchased a 7770 because it had at RJ-45 Ethernet jack - I didn't want to be stuck schlepping a dock around, and I didn't want to rely on the (in my opinion) entirely-too-physically-delicate USB-C.
