Del 3480 USB woes

My Dell 3480 struggles with sluggish USB which also tends to mess with WiFi signals too. Seems to many machine designs are unaware of RF considerations. Now my machine has USB 3.2 and USB 3.1 in the device manager but its gimmicked with two USB 3.0 root hubs. Small wonder USB speeds are glacial.

USB 3.1 is 10 gigabit and USB 3.2 is 20 gigabit. So trying to get a USB NVMe box is pain in the butt due to the garotted performance.

Now AFAIK I did not look all that close inside as the RAM is seated fine and the machine is clean no need for a new fan etc.

But USB is mounted on  the mainboard on most Dell I have dissected so that means I have to desolder the USB 3.0 trash and installed USB 3.2 parts which should boost speeds tro 30 gigabit so that USB devices can actually work slightly better,

Now my USB 4.0 port is questionable as well. Should be 40 gigabit and backwards down to USB 2.0. It also supports DisplayPort, Thunderbolt and PCIe. At least that is what Intel propaganda claims.

Now I am aware USB is one chip with some MOSFET regulators for USB PD.
