Can M4800 be used as a monitor using HDMI input?
Can I use the screen on my laptop (M4800 w/ Quadro K1100M) as a monitor for other devices? I'd love to hook up my games to the laptop and be able to play.

No -- the HDMI port is output only. And though you could try a USB capture device, note that these usually don't provide real time images -- there is always a lag in the display that may work for some applications, but not for gaming.
