Windows 11 Driver for Dell Precision 7920
I am trying to do a clean install of Windows 11 on a Precision 7920 and can't seem to find the right Win 11 driver for the SATA controller. In Windows 10, the device manager shows an Intel C600+/C200+ SATA controller but that is not listed in the Win 11 downloads for this computer. Can anyone point me to the correct driver?

Well I will suggest you to Check BIOS mode by doing the following:
Reboot → F2 → Storage → SATA Operation. If you keep RAID On (Dell’s default), plan to load the VROC driver in Setup. If you switch to AHCI for a single SATA drive, Windows should see it without extra drivers.

Windows will only boot in the mode it was loaded in. So if RAID was on during loading,n switching to AHCI will cause it to not boot. If you want/need the instructions on changing modes without reloading, I have the instructions saved.
I'm a bit surprised Win11 didn't just have the driver, but it is a server we're dealing with.
Upon first seeing your post, I felt like saying download the Win10 driver, it'll work in Win11. But I don't know that for sure.

@bradthetechnut I bet it would work normally, like with the older releases of windows in similar situations. But yes, requires trying

@GauravSyst Thanks, that is probably the issue. I am a bit surprised that the driver is not in the ISO.

I had a problem installing Windows 10 to an NVME M.2 on my T7920. The only way I was able to get the OS on to the NVME M.2 drive was to install to a SATA SSD and then clone the OS to the NVME M.2.

I installed the iaRNVMe driver and I was able to mount the NVME drives. That driver was in the workstation drivers pack on the Dell support page.
