Will Dell 7920 Support Intel Platinum 8124M
I have a Dell R7920 and on Dells specs all it says is it will support the Platinum 81xx series. But this is a special chip made for Amazon, and has the 8124 "M". Does anyone know if these chips will work?

This web page has some information. From what I can gather this is a feature stripped version of the chip made for Amazon and not supported by the majority of MBs. I would steer clear of it as users are reporting a number of headaches trying to make it work.
