Upgrade CPU/RAM
Hello
I would like advice on upgrading my PC Precision 3630. I plan to change the processor from Intel Core i5-9500 to 6-Core Intel® Xeon™ E-2236 (3.40 GHz, 12M, LGA1151) or: 6-Core Intel® Xeon™ E- 2286G (4 GHz, 12M, LGA1151) which according to the technical documentation should be supported: (processors pic.)

I only have a dilemma that the E-2236 does not have internal graphics and the E-2286 does. Does this mean that if I install the E-2236, the DP ports on the board will not work with a connected monitor?
I would also like to add 2x 32 GB memory, but I don't know which model would be suitable, for example? (memory
pic.)

For both processors above I write: Supported Memory Speed: 2666MHz (PC4-21300)
Does this mean that such a 2X model would be suitable?
Kingston 32 GB DDR4 2666 MHz CL19 Server Premier
Operating memory - 1x32GB, PC4-21300, CL19-19-19, voltage 1.2V, ECC, registered with Parity and Dual Rank
I'm writing this model for Proliant, so I'll probably have to change the manufacturer?

Thanks for your help Ervin

Hello,
about the onboard graphic ports, is correct. You need to use one of the xeons that include on the die the intel gpu option, otherwise you will have no video from the DP ports on the motherboard.
About the ram, Dell units can be a bit picky sometimes so.... ensure 1) that the vendor has the model in their configurator and 2) that they have no issues exchanging or returning if what they write to be working ends not.

@mazzinia_
Hello mazzinia
Where can I find the configurator? Or support list of brands? Motherbords like Gygabite heve such lists but here I dont find any of this lists.

@Ervin80 there's no official list, since Dell sells rams directly.
Some brands allow to search by computer model, and offer a list of supported products ( like kingston, or crucial > Crucial Advisor tool | Crucial.com ), others you have to do your homework
