it has C600 chipset which is server counterpart of X79. it seems X79 supported cpu does not have AVX2 support but X99 does.

One major difference between Haswell-E (X99) and Ivy Bridge-E (X79) is that Haswell-E adds support for the AVX2 and FMA3 instruction sets. programs that are specifically coded to use AVX2 and/or FMA3 (mostly for scientific calculations) should see a huge boost in performance

@redxps630 Thank you for answering, so I can understand that I can't upgrade my ivy ridge CPU in Dell T5600 to one support AVX2 features absolutely?

@haytham_kamel correct. You need at least a Xeon E5 v3 , to have AVX2 . The T5600 uses Xeon E5 v0
