Trying to upgrade my ram on my precision 5820 tower

So recently, I acquired this PC from a demo job I was doing and I restarted the factory new checked. It did a lot of stuff to it and I got it working for me. And I decided to turn into a gaming PC, even though you know it’s usually more for Working offices and stuff like that. I wanted to turn into a gaming PC I wanted to change it ram because currently it is using a.  DDR4 Hynix 8 GB ram and I tried to get the new upgrade for it in Amazon, which I got was

3600MHz CL18-22-22-42 1.35V Intel AMD Desktop Computer Memory - Black (CMK64GX4M2D3600C18)

I I tried installing it into the PC but every time I started it to the PC it kept beeping not booting up then I took out the whole thing for basically the whole Rams and individually plugged in to each slot this year. It was the Rams I checked both of them and they still didn’t connect or rebooted my PC so I don’t know if it was the Rams that were faulty or if the Rams that I bought weren’t compatible with the PC I got. So if anyone could recommend me what would be or if anyone knows what would be a great upgraded ram for my PC. Unless it’s better to get the original or someone equal to original ram. But I don’t know if it’s good for gaming. I also want to use the PC for work as well, but I will mainly use it for gaming.

The Corsair Vengeance RAM is not compatible with your system.  You will need RDIMM for Xeon system and UDIMM for Core-X system.  To be accurate with memory upgrade, would you check and provide the information of the processor you have in your system?

@Chino de Oro hopefully this is what you need to see and help me determine what ram it is. I also took a photo of my motherboard. I don’t know if you need that as well.

Your system has Xeon W-2123.  It will support DDR4 RDIMM at 2666 MHz.

Here is the memory specifications from Dell  https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/oth-xlt5820/precision_5820_om_pub/memory-specifications?guid=guid-5ee14007-db24-4d37-aecb-34dea3370abb&lang=en-us

Here is an example vendor list of support memory for your system  https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/dell/precision-5820-(intel-xeon-w-21xxx-models)

After memory upgrade, you might consider a decent performance graphics card for moderate gaming.  Verify that your power supply is a 950w (see the label on PSU).
