T5600 upgrade or buying a T5810 ?

i'm running a T5600 for a while it's a E5-2609 cpu based 64gb ram with nvidia quadro k4202gb memory perc h310 2x1tb sata hd but still using 635w psu, i was planning to buy 825 psu but these are unavailable here in italy since myu intent was to upgrade to E5-2960 cpu. then i have noticed that there are may T5810 avalaible on the used market, i.e. one is T5810

XEON E5-1620v3 Nvidia NVS

but i have to move my raid card and my ram to this new one.......cost is about 90 euros.

the other is

T5610 2x Xeon E5-2650v2 8x2,60 GHz 128 GB DDR 500 GB HDD K4000 RW

but the cost rise up to 200 euros.

in your opinion is better for me to upgrade tha actual one to a new cpu or is it better to move to one of the two listed above? which one is a better performer for the price?

i have another option, since i don't use the nvedia quadroi i coud remnove it and installa a normal pci video card, will it work? do i miss something to make it working?

another question, in your knbowledge is there any way to fit more 2 x 1tb 3.5 hard drives? to have the possibility to move to a raid 5....

thanks and forgive me because of all these questions

Hello,

personally speaking, is better pricewise , the 2nd with 2 cpu installed. And yes, you can use a normal card ( gaming ), just you always have to make sure that you have the required cables to power the card you are going to employ, and that it fits the psu.

Space for 3.5" drives is limited. You can add one in the 5.25" external bay, or add an adaptor to install 2.5" drives there ( up to 6 with the right cage )
