T5500 performance in Cubase
Im struglin with my computer performance, Its a T5500 with two x5675 procesor, 72gb ram 1333, 3gb Nvidia card, Windows 10 pro, SSD 900gb samsung and A06 BIOS
I use It for music production, Cubase Is my main software, But when using with plugins AND virtual instruments the sound clip, open the task manager AND the cpu Is at 33% the most, and the RAM of 8 or 9 GB, how can I improve the performance, I have changed the video card, the SSD increased the RAM but I dont see any improvement, was thinking to upgrade the BIOS to a17 but dont know if Its possible or It would be better, hope someone can help me

Finally got a huge performance in my computer, just connect the mix out into another in of my interface (UR824 & Scarlett octo pre) and this new channel mix I use It as my master bus.
The pros with this Is that now I have much more space for plug ins and instruments to play in real time, even at 192 samples, I use a lot of universal audio plugins and dont have an Apollo, I didn't know the computer was this powerful
The cons Is that you Will have to print your mix first, then mixdown from your master bus, if you dont know about routing maybe you Will struggle at first, but It Will worth It.
Hope this solves someone problems with the CPU performance in music production AND sorry for my bad english, I have More tips if still have problema but I dont think you need It, this Is the problem for sure
