Support Assist still rreporting failiing SATA disk after removal
If this has been addressed somewhere else, please excuse this post, but I'm still getting a pop-up from Support Assist about a failing 2 TB SATA disk that came with this Precision 3660 I bought from a client who closed his business late this past year. The failing 2TB SATA has already been removed and replaced by an M.2 NVME SSD.
Of note: This SATA disk was NOT a part of the original invoice from Dell (I presume it was added later) so of course not covered under any sort of warranty from Dell, but even so...
I replaced this SATA with the aforementioned NVME, so now how do I kill this erroneous (and repetitious) report? T'ain't no big thing, but when another of my 'cohorts' uses this PC, THEY don't know it is 'erroneous' and get "excited" and I get 'harrassed'. So, I'd just like to kill this somehow.
Wat I've done so far: I've already UN-installed and re-installed Support Assist ('cuz I saw that mentioned elsewhere) but my guess is that it is still maybe noted in my account as 'unresolved' (?) since this PC has another 2 years of support from the original purchase date, even tho it is now registered and associated with MY Dell account and not the original purchaser.
Any help with this?
