SAS drive not being recognized within Dell Precision 7920
Precision 7920 Tower
I have a Dell Precision 7920 workstation.
This workstation already boots up from an NVME drive in bay 1.
The Service Tag for this Dell workstation is <Private data removed from public view. DELL-Admin>
I've put a SAS drive within the second drive bay and have inserted this drive bay into this Dell Precision workstation.
The drive bay for this Dell Precision 7920 definitely only accepts SAS and not SATA hard drives.
The problem is that this hard drive isn't recognized within Windows 10 21H2, the BIOS, or the RAID configuration.
So I'm wondering what else might need to be done to get this SAS hard drive to be recognized within this Dell Precision 7920 workstation.
Are there any other additional configurations within either the BIOS or the RAID configuration settings that I need to modify for this hard drive to be recognized?
When I boot into the RAID configuration section the only hard drive I see is the 1 TB NVME drive. I don't see the SAS hard drive that I've just added.

Did you format the SAS HDD in Windows Disk Management?
OP said the drive couldn't be seen in Windows 10 21H2. Does that mean it couldn't be seen in Disk Management?

I did not see SAS even in Bios not in Win disk managment as well.
Is the t7920 can see SAS disk without VROC kay? Is there SAS controller integrated?
