Running SupportAssist on Dell Precision 3660

Recieved the following message from Dell Technical Support -

I have an update. Apparently support assist is not used on this machine this machine will use Dell Optimizer and Dell command update not support assist. I would recommend using these applications as these are what are compatible with your machine.

SURELY, THIS CAN'T BE TRUE!!
