Precision T5610 CPU runs hot at idle - Fan replacement question
with the fan setting in the bios my t5610 idles at 60-70c , if i turn the fans to medium it idles at 39-50c but its very loud. Can i replace the fans with quieter fans?

It has LGA2011 socket for hot 150w tdp Xeon cpu. It is the cooler that is ineffective. You would do better replacing the entire Dell cooler than just the fan.
