Precision 7960 CPU vs T7910 and T7920
Having had a Precision T7910 and T7920 with dual CPU's. I noticed the new 7960 only has one CPU, so would that mean that one CPU in the T7960 is going to be faster than dual CPU configuration in the other machines? or is Dell making the T7960 a cheaper option for it's customers?

It's just another new model. The 7960 does not replace the 7920. Dell still releases the new 7920 with newer scalable processors, Xeon Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.
The 7960 seems more like a newer model of 5820 using the latest Xeon W.
