Precision 7875 how do I force a BIOS downgrade when Dell blocked it?
I updated the BIOS of my Dell Precision 7875 to version 02.01.01 but it gives me occasional BSOD's with WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. Therefore I want to go back to the previous version 01.13.00 but it is disabled by Dell for security reasons: "BIOS Update blocked due to unsupported downgrade"
I already have BIOS downgrades enabled in BIOS setup. Is there a switch or setting to allow this downgrade? I rather take BIOS security problems which are unlikely to personally affect me over data security problems due to BSOD's.

This issue has been resolved by one of the two following steps:
Because I did both at the same time I cannot be sure what fixed my BSOD's. But considering the PCI-e COM port card was inserted the same way before I did my BIOS update and when my PC was stable, I expect the CMOS/RTC reset to be my solution.

I Googled the error to see if anything helpful would come up. Both Microsoft and Intel have articles on it.
The only way to be able to downgrade BIOS at this point is to contact Dell. Chat button is on the lower right. With the machine being newer, contacting Dell is the way to go anyway.

Thanks. Today I had a chat with support.<Private data removed from public view. DELL-Admin>
Unfortunately they had no safe way to provide me with a BIOS downgrade without risking damage to the motherboard. I have to wait for a new BIOS release they said.

Exactly — you summed it up well. Once Dell blocks a BIOS downgrade, the only path is through their support team,
