Precision 5810 vs 8pin gpu

My 5810 has a 685w psu with 2x 6pin power cables.
Im looking to upgrade to an Rtx 5060 ti 16gb which draws ~180w and has an 8pin connector.
When removing the shroud by the psu there appears to be an 8pin connector of some kind that the 2x 6 pins are connected to, if im not mistaken (havent looked myself). https://imgur.com/a/welp-d4R7sDJ#XlL0MLV

Looking for advice on whether this connector is safe to plug into gpu, or failing that, can the 2x 6pins be adapted back into an 8pin, with a high quality adapter?

Safe way to connect power for your graphics card is using dual 6-pin female to 8-pin male GPU cable.  For example, this COMeap cable from online shopping site.

@Chino de Oro Thanks Chino. Im finding that these cables arent very common. Struggling to find one with amp ratings that doesnt ship from overseas. Im in New Zealand. So im sceptical about how common this practice is and what price point is considered high quality enough to be safe

The answer was for a safe way to connect your graphics card, not about where to shop or debate over quality build from vendors.  Although, COMeap has been known for their quality cables and connectors.

The power connectors on Dell power distribution board are not of standard.  Therefore, any attempts to connect them using aftermarket wirings without known pinouts are less safe.  However, the 6-pin connectors are standard for all graphics uses.  A common adapter cable that convert standard dual 6-pin to one 8-pin is a safe way for your case.
