Precision 3660 XE 2.5" Adapter for 3.5" Front Accessible Tray
My Precision 3660 XE has a front-accessible 3.5" HDD. The tray looks like it will taka a 2.5" adapter. What is the Dell part number for the 2.5" adapter? Thanks!
On mine, it says ib51fk700-600, but it's part of the whole unit of ib51fk700-600, and they are from a 7820. Third party sellers sell it as a whole bracket. Therefore, I suggest for you to look at yours for a similar number as the part you provided did not come up for anything.
Check to see if 1B51FK200-600 is the drive bracket in your machine. There is a plastic insert located on top left corner of picture, which will convert it to a 2.5" drive bracket. There are four adjustable blue grommets with studs. They are used to keep drives secured in place instead of screws.
Chino, mine looks very similar to the pic you posted. It has the blue grommets and studs. The dell part number on it is 0PVY1R. Do you have a part number for the plastic bracket?

Yeah, I might just have to purchase the whole thing. Found some used for about $10. Thanks!
