Precision 3660 - Upgrading from 12th Gen Intel CPU -> 13th Gen Intel CPU **SOLVED**

I was was looking to upgrade my Dell 3660 Tower from a 12th Gen CPU to a 13th Gen CPU I9-13900K. Unfortunately, If your PC was shipped with a 12th Gen CPU, you cannot upgrade your PC with that motherboard. Dell put some kind of limit in the motherboards shipped with 12th Gen CPUs. The 13th Gen CPU will fit in the socket, but upon booting you will get a bios message stating approximately "13th Gen CPUs not supported shutting down".  As a 25 year Dell customer, I believe it is sad that Dell purposely limits systems shipped with 12th Gen CPUs to not accept 13th Gen CPUs, because the chipset does support 13th Gen CPUs.

There is HOPE! The Dell Motherboard number 0PRR48 or PRR48 does support 13th Gen CPUs!!! I am typing this right now on a Dell 3660 that I swapped my old motherboard to a PRR48 motherboard. I am running a 13th Gen CPU!!! So if you go to the most popular auction site, you can purchase a 0PRR48 or PRR48 Dell motherboard for 100 to 200 dollars. It is a cumbersome process to switch out the motherboard, so not for a novice. Advanced PC people only or pay a professional.
