Precision 3660 - 2.5 Gigabit LAN
Hi,
my Precision 3660 has 1 gigabit lan port only. I'd like to add 2.5 gigabit LAN support. Which card should I buy:
- LAN board - Dell part number 7C49F (https://www.amazon.com/Deal4GO-Daughter-07C49F-Replacement-Precision/dp/B0CDSC7SF9)
- Dell I225 - Dell part number JJF4X

Do not buy the i-225, and while you're at it do not buy any card from Dell. These idiots built this 3660 with not enough lanes and conflicting IQ and memory for the expansion slot cheapo pcie If you have included a discrete Nvidia GPU. Non-stop problems here on three of our systems that they cannot solve

@Homegrownphenom Thanks, I bought the card before your reply. I do have discrete GPU, but it uses 8 lines only (Zotac RTX 4060 solo). I haven't noticed any problems with this card. But thanks for the reply.
