"Intel 13th gen not supported. System will auto-shutdown in 30 seconds"
After I replaced the defective motherboard, the system boots into SupportAssist | On-board Diagnostics with the message shown above—even with a 14th Gen i5 processor. The computer passes the diagnostics, but in order to boot into Windows, I have to press F12 and manually select the boot drive. However, if I restart the PC, the error appears again. I updated the BIOS, but that didn’t help. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Make sure you're running the latest firmware for the system. The latest firmware is from about 10 days ago.

If you don't have a CPU that the system will boot with you may want to contact your board seller to see if they can update the firmware for you.
Then when you change the CPU, hold the power button for 30 sec with the system unplugged. Then powerup with the newer CPU installed.
