Monitor connection for Precision 5820 PC Xeon W-2133
I've just bought this beast from ebay (from a good company 100% positive) but neither of the old Dell computer monitor to tower cables fits. I contacted the company who said the display connection links to the CPU board not the mother board (I think I've got that one sussed) , and that the cables can be bought on Amazon for a few pounds. Can anyone who knows this machine be a bit more precise about what cable. I'm not a computer geek and only bought such a big machine because I'm a photographer, and this is the level recommended for photo editing software, storage etc.
Thanks in anticipation.

The mainboard has no video connector on it -- the video connector will be on the GPU card in the system.
What model video card is in the system? There is a host of possible cards:
If there is no video card in the system you purchased, you will need to buy one.
What model monitor are you trying to connect?

I think they meant to say "the GPU board" as in dedicated video-card in a slot.
So yes, please do as @mazzinia_ suggested.

Hello,
the card has a type c connector and 3 displayport ports. If you provide the precise model of the monitor we can suggest the right path forward ( it will be something like XXYYYY with xx being 2 letters, and yyyy being for numbers and since is a 24" will be 24yy ( the 2 following yy would be the year model ).
The cables shown are an hdmi and a dsub ( vga ). Now, if the monitor has also a displayport in , you would just need a displayport cable
If the monitor has not, you would need a displayport to hdmi adapter to plug to the gpu port ( ideally port 1 ) and plug the hdmi cable to it OR to look for a dp to hdmi cable.
the hdmi cable has a connector shaped /____\ this way. The dp connector is shaped |______\ this way
PS, the gpu is likely a Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000

If you don't know which gpu is installed, take a picture of the back / expansion cards area and just post it here.
If it's a quadro you would have a minidisplayport or a displayport
If it's a rtx , you would have hdmi + displayport ( and dvi / vga , all depends on the model of the card )
and so on. For your immediate issue what matters is more seeing which connectors are present, to suggest which cable or adapters are required. Also we need to know which monitor you have and pictures of the cables now using it

@mazzinia_ Hello mazzinia and thank you for your much appreciated reply. Apologies for the delay but I could not reply directly from the e-mail notification and I've had great trouble getting back here (though I had no trouble first time around) . I'm attaching photos as requested,of the back of the new computer. The monitor is a Dell 24inch,the blue screw in connection is what connected a computer I've just decommissioned, left just for demonstration of the port. The other is what connects this computer and it looks like it should fit the new one, but doesn't. I will never not respond to an answer,so if any further communication from you goes unanswered,it is because I have had trouble getting back here and have been locked out for too many tries.Kind Regards,Shirley
