Installation of Nvidia Quadro M6000 Video Card in Precision 3620
I am preparing to install a PNY Nvidia Quadro M6000 video card in my Precision 3620 tower. According to the owners manual, this card should work, however there isn't a 6 pin molex plug in the case to provide auxiliary power for the video card, and I have been unable to find information confirming the 325 watt PSU's wire color code as compliant with the ATX scheme. There IS a 6 pin molex plug available, but it has 3 brown and 3 black wires connected to it, which is not consistent with the voltages shown by Nvidia and PNY.
I am at a loss as to how to proceed with the installation of the card, and I would be most appreciative of the assistance of someone who can advise me as to how I should proceed.
Many thanks in advance!

Re: According to the owners manual, this card should work
Afraid to tell you that a Quadro M6000 was not validated by Dell to work and support with your Precision 3620. Therefore, you won't be able to install it without a power supply upgrade and chassis modification.
For starter, the power supply shipped with Precision 3620 is either a 290w or a 365w. The Quadro M6000 is a 250w card and will require 600w power supply to provide proper connector with enough power.
With the length of 10.5 in, the M6000 is a little too long and does not fit into the chassis unless you drill out the rivets to remove the hard drive cage.
A simple drop-in upgrade that does not require anything else is a Quadro P2200. While it has only half amount of VRAM, the performance is almost 90% of an M6000 and it has better features of a Pascal card.
