Dell R7960XL Workstaion - Acronis Backup & Restore not recognized by UEFI setting
Has anyone else had trouble Acronis restoring Dell R7960XL Rack mounted workstations? My Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 Advanced boot-up disk makes you think that the Acronis Linux based program will launch, but it just shows a blank screen and never enters the Acronis program to proceed with using Acronis to perform backups or restores.
I have a feeling that when Dell stopped including Legacy boot option, and only including UEFI, that's when Acronis 12.5 and later will no longer work with Dell computers.
Has anyone else experienced this with the Dell R7960XL workstation?
Sincerely,

That's a fairly old version of Acronis - you may need an upgrade to have it be fully UEFI-compliant. They must have updated it, as it is Intel that ceased the support for legacy mode -- not Dell.
The other alternative is to build your own boot media on a flash drive that has full UEFI support.

@ejn63 I did download Acronis 15 ISO and created a new boot disk, and on the Dell R7960XL workstation, it tries the Linux application, but after 2 minutes, the computer just reboots. I tried another R7960 and it does the same thing, so I've got a service request ticket with Acronis to see what they say is going on.

Just a comment on Acronis and their Linux boot disks. This is not recent but in the early Win 10 timeframe. I had two tower systems in my recording studio. One had an ASUS motherboard and the other a Gigabyte. The Gigabyte system would not boot the Acronis Linux but the ASUS would. I dumped Acronis True Image for Macrium Reflect and their WinPE bootable rescue disk and no more problems.

Dell Support told me today their R7960XL platform only supports UEFI, so I assume that's the issue why it sits their with a blank black screen after I choose option 2 to boot up with Acronis 12.5.
When I downloaded the latest Acronis Version 15 boot ISO image, and burned a DVD, the screen goes black, then after 2-3 minutes, the computer reboots, and does this continuously.
