Dell Precision T 5600 time and date problem
I'm having trouble with my system date. The system reports at startup. Today I have 16-08-2022, and the system indicates 06-05-2017. A different time is also indicated. I'm going through the system date and time. The next time you start the system, it's similar. What to do? Dell Precision T 5600

Usually, that is an indication of a bad (dead) CMOS memory battery.
Replace the CR2032 coin cell battery located on the motherboard.

Push a bit from the top to the bottom, where you can see hole on the top. Then battery would be pulled towards you. Mind the bottom part of the plastic tray.
Take a battery holding top part of it and then, pull gently to the top.
Placing new one will be just opposite.

With that socket, I've seen the instruction before to use a very small screwdriver to get in between one of the tabs on top and carefully pry it out that way without breaking the tab.

This is exactly what you need to move by slightly undermining the battery where there is a gap (vertical, in a place like after opening the computer cover on the left, from the side of the "Service_Mode" print), then the battery from the spring contact will jump out.
We place the new battery in the socket by hiding it in a bookmark and slightly pressing it until it is placed snapping into the socket.

Thank you very much for all the answers. The reason for the problem of wrong date and time settings in the form of CMOS CR 2032 battery replacement was rightly determined by fireberd. The battery is removed similarly to what CeBeeR posted. The placement of the motherboard with pre- and post-assembly recommendations in the form included in the T 5600 manual was sent by bradthetechnut. The specific approach to my nest was also explained by bradthetechnut. I posted a photo of the T 5600 socket in the photo.

Considering the problem replacing the battery, the best option would appear taking it to a repair shop to have it replaced. Probably the shop's minimum charge.

I'm glad it's working/worked out.
You can click on as many "Accept as Solution" as you like.
I'm well aware of problems bad batteries can cause also including boot and boot loop problems.
