Dell Precision 5820 - VROC all drives are unsupported RAID
I have a Precision 5820 with Windows 10. Still under warranty.
It has a VROC key with Intel version 8 driver and software.
Every brand of NVMe drive I install says RAID unsupported.
I even wiped and reimaged to Win 11.
It has the front bay NVME drive slots.
I tried 3 different VROC keys.
I have also tried with the UltraSpeed PCI card.
I installed Dell branded Intel and Skyhinx NVMe drives. Unsupported.
I installed Samsung 980 and 990. Unsupported.
I have other 5820s with front or UltraSpeed card. I verified the drives worked with VROC and put them into this PC.
Still unsupported.
Firmware is up to date. I have reset BIOS to factory and turned off built in RAID.
Has anyone had this issue? If so, what was the fix?
My out of warranty NVMe drives are failing, that is my reason for RAID1.
I like the buffer of time to repair before the other one dies.
Thank you.

Hello,
to confirm : you tried the same units in another 5820 with the SAME vroc key (moved from the problematic unit to the other 5820 ) and in this other 5820 all works as it should / they are recognized ?
