Dell Precision 5820 Power Supply Replacement
Hello, I got a Dell Precision 5820 recently and I realized that it wasn't turning on. I reseated all connections, and deduced that it was a power supply failure, as the CPU and Southbridge chip produced heat, but still didn't POST. Error code is odd and doesn't correspond with anything provided by the Error Code sheet. The current power supply is DP/N 0V7954. I bought one with a different serial number, but I've heard mixing power supplies and their provided cables is not good for any components. Is it fine if I have a different power supply with the previous cables, or will I need different cables as well to prevent my components from going boom?

@mazzinia_ the DP/N of the Power Supply I purchased was CXV28. Is that the same as 0CXV28?
