Dell Precision 5810 Memory Upgrade

Hello there, I have a new Precision 5810 and I would like to upgrade the RAM

What I have found is this:

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/176641432884
or
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/375732179855?_skw=pc4-2133p+ddr4+ecc+reg&itmmeta=01JBJ3Q6T9D1YGS200Y6HQEFMH&hash=item577b62138f:g:bXMAAOSwBgRkW2kp&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKkocyZZUjhHyTmW%2FRme3obuLJ5BC9sM7ras93r1pYiM4iq8S66WMd7DFlIaLM2au6rjyIC80SGoYJXsgwILvh4uaBeBFWe%2FJvfafeuXL2I6oCMWH5fV4qztOtJxZ3FkFB6iuSORu4vMvRrG%2Bhr3jkI6KJL8z2wmwOyG8y1dbKQI%2FQAlc9hj7o4cb89ZZ04HyWoV9fV7NnReoqXvf9nVTfx5AfiCdLPxwIH%2BbRsTUp0F%2FTxdzc%2F9ShIrN%2BC970Ks1PQ%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR6Tt3MPcZA

I would like someone to verify for me that either of these RAM modules work alright, as it seems it should.  It is 2133MHz DDR4 RDIMM PC4-17000 ECC RAM (288p)

Any input would be greatly appreciated, as it seems there's a lot of controversy for people and their results.  Just checking in with pro's and ppl with experience before I shelf out almost $100 CAD.   Thanks !

Either one of those should be fine.  I didn't scroll down much, but make sure the return policy is decent.

I'd lean toward Samsung since I've had Hynix fail.

@bradthetechnut Thanks, I will see if I can get samsung cheaper.  The hynix is on sale however aha.  One more question:  Should I get 8x8GB to occupy all 8 DIMM's
or just get 4x16GB, which leaves room for an upgrade in future but only using 4 DIMM's

Check the RAM matrix.  If it can accommodate 4x16GB, it might a little cheaper than 8x8GB and leave you room to upgrade as you say.

@bradthetechnut thanks, I'm awaiting the RAM I ordered it from Neptune, as it is going to take until almost Christmas aha.  I cannot wait, I updated the bios and TPM and have a Vega56 so it should be pretty solid.  Also putting m.2 SSD :D
