Dell Precision 3630 cpu support
Can anyone tell me if a T3630 with the latest bios version will support Intel "T" CPUs such as the i7-9700T or i9-9900T?
Thank you

Probably not, they are designed for optimized power and working with laptop like platform such as micro form factor to save power. Those processors are working with CPU sockets that compatible with 25w - 35w TDP.
Besides support Xeon processors, here is the list of tested and validated Intel Core processors to work with your Precision 3630 https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/precision-3630-workstation/prec_3630_specifications_manual/processor?guid=guid-17014aff-dc79-4209-89da-b82b62be2c0f&lang=en-us

I think it will work because user have validated the regular i7 9700 and i9 9900 in this model. the T version cpu are of same family just lower TDP which does not prevent them from running in this model

Thanks for replies. I know its not listed as an officially supported CPU just hoping to find someone who has tried it as I couldn't find anyone who has been successful or unsuccessful. If I decide to test it out I'll let you know.

no worries. someone had tested i7-8700T in this model although the low power 8700T is also not officially supported.

Interesting. What is the difference between Dell 0NNNCT and 0Y2K8N ? Both appear to be T3630 motherboards

Dell oem motherboard almost always has more than one DP/N. by default they do not release engineering details. the second DP/N is a refresh
