Dell Precision 3450 SFF FAN SYS is not working
After connecting a fan to the SYS FAN socket, it does not work. There is no option in the BIOS to enable it. After plugging the fan into the CPU FAN socket, it works. The fan has a 4-pin plug.
Have I missed something?

The problem turned out to be an incompatible fan.

Unfortunately I have the same problem, only I don't know what part number to look for.
I installed a test fan (https://www.arctic.de/P8-PWM-PST-CO/ACFAN00151A), and during startup the fan makes 1/10 of a turn and stops.
What do you mean by incompatible?
