Dell 5860 Workstation WOL not working after power loss
I have a strange issue with WOL on my Dell 5860 workstation not powering on after a power loss.
The bios has
- Deep sleep - Disabled
- Block Sleep - Enabled
- Restore power - Power Off
If i remove power chord from the system and reconnect .. the system doesn't power on during the WOL time.
If i power off the system without removing power chord.. the system will power on during the WOL time.
Is there any other settings i need to check .

Does anyone has Precision 5860 with BIOS version 2.4.1 or later with AutoOn feature working.. My current BIOS version is 2.2.9 and AutoOn feature is working. But when i upgrade to 2.4.1 or later.. the feature stops working.
I can see the machine powering on at AutoOn time but after 10-15 sec.. it turns off by itself.
You cant even turn on the machine with the power button after that and you have to disconnect the power and connect back to turn on the machine. Very strange.
