Good afternon, question.

I need to boot my workstation Dell Precision 3460 with different SSD HD, I put this HD as a slave device, I can see the drive in the setup program, but when I try to put a new boton in the boot manager I can see the boot.ini in the SSD, I was wondering if you could help me with this issue.

There is no selector on SSD to set as slave drive.  All drives are connecting independently to the storage controller nowadays.

To be able to boot in the new system (Precision 3460), your old SSD must have the same boot mode (UEFI, MBR), and has been set up with matching storage driver (RAID, AHCI).

With the old SSD installed, continuously tapping on F12 at boot to invoke one time boot menu.  If the old SSD appeared in one of the boot menu, you can highlight to select and system will boot with that drive.

If it does not appear as a bootable drive in your new 3460, you can use an enclosure or HDD dock to connect via USB port and transfer your data.
