7960 Memory mixing (4 x 16GB + 4 x 64GB, both lots 4800MHz)
My 7960 Workstation shipped with 4 lots of 16GB PC5-4800B-RD0-1010-XT (64GB); I've since purchased 4 lots of 64GB 2Rx4 PC5-4800B-RA0-1010-XT (256GB). I'd like to just stick the new stuff in along with the old stuff and hope it all works without a problem. Now I know it's a weird combination, but is it something that'll work, oh mighty Dell hive mind?
cheers!

@Alptech Expert I'm not sure that information you posted is correct - as far as I know, the 7960 supports up to 4TB of memory (in Xeon systems), and it's designed to support DDR5-4800MHz memory.
My modules are the same speed, I'm just wondering if my system will be happy with a mix of 16 and 64GB modules; the 64GB modules occupying banks 1-4 and the 16GB modules occupying banks 5-8.

@johnnyboyc Correct!!, if you don't want issues with system performance. make sure all modules are the same model and size, invest from the start, adding more memory later on can cause issues, been there and done that!!
Use the Memory Matrix, it will become your best friend!!
