3630 Tower - Command Update / Support Assist doesn't find all drivers

I've just freshly installed this PC with W10 EDU, ran command update and support assist, yet a whole lot of drivers are marked in device manager.

How is this even possible?

There are no expansion cards in this PC, just CPU / RAM / NVME.

I could browse Microsoft Update Catalog by VEN/DEV and so on, but that simply shouldn't be necessary.

I think it is the missing Chipset Drivers... Go to https://www.dell.com/support/home/pt-br and write your service tag and download the Chipset Drivers package...

RST,

Dell can only support the OS that shipped with the computer which is Windows 10 pro and not Windows EDU. Please refer to Microsoft for support or reinstall the OS that shipped on the system for support.

Our organization only uses EDU or LTSC.

Dear Falvius,

I shall give it a go tomorrow, and will report back for posterity.

@FlaviusAetiusYou were spot on!

I was missing this package "Intel-Chipset-Device-Software_5MPRF_WIN_10.1.18121.8164_A09.exe"

I find it moderately "amusing" that this driver has to be downloaded manually. I see absolutely no reason why this cannot be done by Dell's management software. As far as I know W10 EDU / Pro / Enterprise ... only differ by certain features, not by drivers.

If Dell is concerned about supporting only one kind of windows, it might as well offer the download link for the "daring user" - with a disclaimer that it "might" not work, yadda yadda yadda.
