3620 Drive Caddy needed.
I have Dell Precision 3620 and I want to add an extra Drive to the machine. The current HDD caddy/cage already has two drives installed.
I noticed that there are brackets attached to and below the Optical Drive cage which look like they could support a drive cage. If so what would it be called and does anyone know the part number for it?
I have an HBA card which supports both SAS and SATA drives.
See my picture attached.
Thanks in advance.

you can install a media card cage but instead of the media card reader install a 3.5" hdd

You can utilize your optical bays with adapters for HDD.

@redxps630 I had one of those in a 9020, but I removed it to use the space for an HDD.

I have solved it and now have 4 HDDs and 2 SSDs installed. I cannot use swappable drives because I need the drives available 24x7 and am phasing out, for the most part, external USB drives.

There's adapter cages that'll hold one 3.5" drive and a 2.5" drive in one optical drive bay. Is that what you're using? Also adapters that'll hold two 2.5" drives in one HDD bay.

I mentioned 2 different adapters. Which one are you looking for? They can also be Googled or searched in search bars.

The adapter for DVD drive bays hold more HDD's than what I remembered. Here's a screengrab of the 2nd one I linked:

Since there's only 4 data ports on the MB, you'll need a PCIe card that has more data ports. I linked two for example: https://a.co/d/fdoyqlp
