3450 SFF Maximum number of Drives, Manual states 1 M2 + 2 x 2.5", but MB has room for more?

Hi, looking for help from users of the 3450 Precision SFF (or 3440 as they are similar),  I've had a lot of trouble finding the correct info on how many drives I can put into a 3450 Precision SFF.

I'm confused by the official spec sheets and manual as the machine has 3 M2 slots for drives (machines with i7 CPUs can use 3 slots I think, i5 can use 2) and also 3 SATA ports, yet the manual states:

Storage

Your computer supports one of the following configurations:
  • One 2.5-inch hard-disk drive
  • Two 2.5-inch hard-disk drives
  • One 3.5-inch hard-disk drive
  • One 2.5-inch hard-disk drive and one 3.5-inch hard-disk drive
  • One 2280 solid-state drive (class 40)
  • Two 2280 solid-state drive (class 40)
  • One M.2 2280 solid-state drive (class 40) and one 3.5-inch hard-disk drive
  • One M.2 2280 solid-state drive (class 40) and one 2.5-inch hard-disk drive
  • One M.2 2280 solid-state drive (class 40) and two 2.5-inch hard-disk drives

I'd like to have 2 x M.2 and 2 x SATA 2.5" but is this possible?  Has anyone got one of these with multiples drives installed?

I do not own one but yes, you can have 2 x M.2 PCIe and 2 x SATA drives in a 3450.  For 11th gen CPU, you can have 3 x M.2 PCIe drives.
