Reset MD3800i controllers
Reset MD3800i controllers
I replaced controllers of a MD3800i . Now the she gives "The RAID controller is currently in locked-down mode because the storage array's configuration database is corrupted. Click the Storage Array Needs Attention line to resolve the problem." I can logon to the Raid controllers with the serial cable. How can the MD3800i be reset that the controllers become responsive again?
Thanks.

Hello, if your storage has not expired its support, then the support team would access the VXshellusr account and remove the lockdown( run the lemmeclear lockdown on both controllers.). A special account that allows access to advanced commands for troubleshooting and clearing errors. To access the alt menu and clear any lockdown state, you need to press the esc key. Then you will need to enter a shell user name and password. This password is not given to end users by Dell because it can damage your system if you don't follow the steps properly. The best thing to do when you face this lockdown error and if your warranty is continue to contact support so they can check some commands for you. However if you are confident yourself I would try to google and find a few websites anyone already shared some credentials. like https://dell.to/45DjJLk;
