Reconnect an MD3200 storage unit to a Windows 2019 server
The MD3200 has 2 controller ports. One is already connected a windows 2012 R2 server which manages it.
I had another server connected to it as well and they both accessed different "disks" on the MD.
One server has been decommissioned and upgraded with a win 2019 server (same original hardware)
How do I reconnect this new server to the MD, the SCSI cables are still in place
Here are the specs of the MD

Hi JPD-ICI,
Have you installed the software for the MD on the “new” server? Have you rebooted the MD?

Not yet. I want to make sure I am not going to affect the access managed by the other server.
Not sure either what version of the installer I should use in view of the current version of firmware.

Used the old version already installed in the other server and can manage from both ends. Moved VD from one to the other. Although having issue with reconnecting a VM to its VHDZX after it was moved > not critical but I would like to figure out how to reconnect it. Does not seem to like connecting to a mapped drive to another server

What is the error that it is giving? It may be a permissions issue with the VHD having a GUID from the old server.
