PowerVault NX3000 won't boot
I have an older and of course unsupported PowerVault NX3000 that had:
- OS drive (drive 2 in Disk Management)
- Two virtual data drives (drives 0 and 1 I recall)
All of a sudden I couldn't get into one of the data drives in Explorer. I figured it was somehow dead and a reboot might fix. It's been stuck here (it does scan the channels which is not shown).
Thoughts? (other than to replace it of course - plan is to virtualize)

Hello @John75988816,
This might be an hardware issue. If so, you can try 2 options:
First, clear the flea power. This article will show you how: How do I Reset and Drain Power of my Dell PowerEdge Server? https://dell.to/3jgEiXR
Second, try a Minimun to Post. The goal of this hardware troubleshooting procedure is to remove all hardware components that are not required for the server/storage to complete POST: Normally, it only requires motherboard, CPU, 1 RAM, Power Supply and Control panel. You can also check the hardware owner's manual: https://dell.to/3DTkkKE
Hope this helps.
Regards.

I will ask someone to try that. The lights are OFF on the non-boot drives. Does that help with possibilities?

Hey @John75988816,
Please, try the clear flea power and/or Minimum to post and let me know.
Those lights can mean a diconected cabled or similar. But Minimum to post will override any of those, as you will be disconecting them anyway.
Regards.
