PowerVault LTO7 Power on after power lost
Good Morning to ALL,
maybe a stupid question, but I can't find out any solutions:
We recently bought a PowerVault LTO7 external type drive, but if we have an elettrical power interruption drive shutdown and doesn't power on again, we need to power on by button manually.
We have a power supply, but it will works for about 30/45 minutes.
There are some software, patch, update or "Magic Trick" to set "Power ON After Power lost" like is possible to do in a server, but also in a normal PC, BIOS features?
TY

Hello Ennesima,
With an external LTO drive there is not a way to have the drive power back on after a power loss without hitting the power on button. In some tape library systems, you may have the option to power the drive back on but that is not available on a standalone drive that I am aware of.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
