NX3230 - Upgrade version of Windows Storage Server from 2012 R2 to 2016?
Hi,
I have an NX3230 which came pre-installed with WSS 2012 R2 and was wondering if there is the ability to upgrade it to WSS 2016?
If this is not an option, can Windows Server 2016 Standard or Datacenter be installed without affecting warranty support?

Hello Mark,
You can upgrade to WSS 2016 as Dell sold an upgrade kit. Here is the Dell SKU# 634-BKOE for Windows Storage Servers 2016 Standard Edition, Customer Kit. You can contact your sales rep & provide them with the SKU# so you can order the upgrade kit.
