Hi,
Was this working previously? Has anything changed in the environment? Can you try just one drive and see what happens?

Yes.
No.
Yes, ITDT-SE ou ITDT -GE starts the test, asks to insert the tape, asks me to format the tape, does not give me the option of choosing the way to do the compression, starts the procedure, after a few minutes informs me that the test is aborting and the result from Mount Tape informs me "No the test tape inserted", but i have the library full, with all tapes inserted.

I am having the exact same problem.
I have a bunch of Dell standalone LTO3, 4 and 5 drives that tested fine yesterday but today they are all getting this problem.
Did you ever get an answer?

I have the exact same issue also. All of a sudden my LTO7 drives in our tape library do not pass back any information with regards to a tape being inserted.
This also started about mid January after last MS updates, but even removing them did not resolve the issue.
Has anyone else been able to get this sorted ?

are you manually loading the tape from the front panel or allowing itdt to load it?

both. I have placed a tape in the IO port and then selected that tape when it requested it from the tool. It loads the tape and I can see it get loaded in the console, but the soon after it fails with that error. See the same thing when using Netbackup. It loads a tape and then just sits there waiting for a response to say the tape has been loaded. After a while it just times out and the library removes the tape from the drive.
